Elisabetta Dessy back on the runway in Maria e Luisa Jewels

Elisabetta Dessy, born in 1957, a Roman native, is known for having been the face of haute couture in the 70s. Dessy’s is a story of success; from competitive swimmer, she established herself as a model for the greatest fashion maisons: from Gucci to Versace, from Salvatore Ferragamo to Giorgio Armani.

After more than forty years, another victory: she returned to grace runways around the world in 2019 at the age of 62.

A long hiatus kept Elisabetta Dessy away from the fashion spotlight, but it presents us today with an iconic beauty, almost timeless, and a symbol of Age diversity.
